Round One!

Our first plan of action was to take down the wall lining one side of the kitchen. That wall made the kitchen a galley kitchen and we wanted to open it up to be able to see into the living room. This seemed to be a great idea as Rob worked fast to tear down the wall and all the cabinets. Until we found out it was a support wall for the house. For now, we have a couple of 2x4 boards holding the weight, but are still deciding on how to fix it in the final decor of the house. Because as you know, its beauty over function. Right? Wrong! Our ceiling can't fall in yet, we have too much other work to do!!
